As Trade Marketing Manager, you will preferably have additional languages to English such as German, a Scandinavian language or French. You will have multi-market focus and work with Europe’s leading fashion retailers & influencers.

Reporting to the Marketing Director for Europe, you will lead the trade marketing strategy for the Dickies Life streetwear brand across Europe.
This will include responsibility across customer marketing planning and execution.

The Marketing department is comprised of 4 teams: the Dickies Life streetwear marketing team, Dickies Work Wear marketing team, the Creative Design team, with a dotted line into Dickies’ Direct to Consumer businesses.

Essential Requirements
  • Disciplined & organised – a good planner
  • Great communication – both in terms of presentation and liaison
  • Experience of working with major retailers
  • Experience of utilising, analysing, interpreting and reporting on customer systems and data
  • Broad marketing experience – at least 3 years, not necessarily same sector
  • Self-motivated

  • Strong Influencing skills

  • Category management experience

The detail of the role
  • With key stakeholders (Marketing Director, Merchandising Director, Sales Director, Brand Manager) support, build the Trade Marketing plan for Dickies Life across European territories
  • Take ownership for the development, execution and review of all marketing activities executed in 3rd party customers across Europe
  • With the European Sales team, develop relationships with key customers across Europe; understand those customers and their consumers, and tailor the Dickies trade marketing strategy to fit with their needs
  • With the Head of eCommerce and Manager of Retail stores, take ownership for the development, execution and review of all marketing activities executed via Dickies owned Direct to Consumer environments
  • With the Brand Manager (BM) and Creative Design team, develop a rolling themed customer marketing plan for all activities, showing detailing execution strategies across all channels and verticals
  • Drive brand exposure and rate of sale through ownership of the following key areas:
  1. Customer campaigns and all instore and online executions;
  2. Customer communications – responsible for the creation and   methods of execution for of all communications via 3rd party   customers, from social media to traditional catalogues;
  • Test customer media & marketing packages to best effect, provide reviews of effectiveness and challenge customers to tailor their packages to Dickies’ needs.
  • Build a Customer Metrics Scorecard to evaluate how effectively the Dickies brand and trade marketing initiatives are being executed in their environments
  • With the BM and Head of ECommerce, develop a metrics scorecard to regularly review Brand and Trade development performance measures in Direct to Consumer environments
  • Planning & delivery of all European trade shows
  • Maintain/reinforce the Dickies brand standards in all actions/communications.
  • As part of campaign planning, work with the BM, Head of eCommerce and Retail Stores Manager to develop assets and campaigns for Dickies Direct to Consumer channels
  • Bring ideas and inspiration to the Dickies Life Streetwear marketing.
