Supply Chain Analyst

This role will also support the co-ordination of the monthly S&OP process, driving cross functional accountability for key metrics across the business, contributing to a continuous improvement mindset.

As part of the EMEA Supply Chain Organisation the incumbent is responsible for the provision of data and analysis to support the measurement and the achievement of the critical Supply Chain KPI’s in the following areas:
  • Inventory measurement and forecasting
  • Excess inventory measurement and tracking
  • Vendor on-time performance
  • Order coverage
  • OTB management
  • Order book conversion and shipment tracking
  • DC capacity planning
Responsibilities and Key Accountibilities
  • Prepare the Inventory Roll monthly, ensuring the timely and accurate receipt of all necessary inputs from across the organization to secure corporate reporting deadlines. Prepare projected inventory calculation for the Brand across all distribution channels taking account of Opening Stock / Receipts / Sales / Returns
  • Provide analysis of the actual monthly inventory result, referencing PY / Forecast and the key drivers of variance vs expectation
  • Report inventory metrics accurately and to the required deadlines including the following:
  1. Absolute levels vs LY / Plan / Prior forecast
  2. Calculate rate of Inventory days
  3. Levels of STOF
  4. Report against Inventory health i.e. 1st / MO / TBD
  5. Quality of Inventory (1st Quality vs FD)
  6. Produce monthly updates as to inventory excess to orders and to forecast and call out root cause issues / excess drivers each month
  • Through the use of an OTB tool, support the management of the Inventory results vs targets and forecasts, calling risks / opportunities.
  • Ensure that inventory is appropriately classified per the product life cycle as determined by the Merchandising team.
  • Support the sales teams with the tools to see immediate inventory availability to support At Once sales / TBD push through the provision of weekly availability reports.
  • Support the provision of information and analysis to allow the business to drive improved inventory metrics by monitoring levels of returns, excess and root cause analysis
  • Establish and maintain reports which allow the tracking and measurement of the key Supply Chain metrics (as listed above).
  • Working with the Customer Service and Product Acquisition teams, seek to maximize order coverage particularly for the Dickieslife part of the business.
  • Co-ordinate and consolidate the Corporate and Brand S&OP decks monthly. Capture the action points in the meeting and follow up to ensure that key actions remain on track.
  • Provide other reporting as and when required
  • Other responsibilities as required and directed by Supply Chain management
Knowledge/Skills/Experience

Essential
  • BA degree in economics, business or equivalent study with strong analytical skills.
  • Analytical with the ability to interpret and challenge complex data
  • Ability to work with large volumes of data and analyze efficiently
  • Ability to demonstrate a commercial outlook and bring analytical information to life so actions / next steps are clear.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexible – in thinking style and in the ability to work within a dynamic working environment where priorities frequently change, whilst meeting key deadlines
  • Detail focused
  • Fluent English
  • Computer-literate/Strong Microsoft Office skills
