Senior Planner

Job Overview

To coordinate the whole demand and supply planning process for WW, minimising Inventory and maximizing level of service to all distribution channels.
This will need to be accomplished thru the creation of accurate consolidated sales forecast based on the different inputs from different department (Merchandising, Sales, Finance) and through the management of all Purchase Orders from creation to receipt.

Primary Accountabilities
  • Responsible of the whole Demand planning process for all WW product categories across all Channels (coordinating and consolidating all data inputs) to produce an accurate sales forecast by product channel.
  • Manage the team of Planners with assigned product categories/markets.
  • Plan and Calculate SKU buys based on sales forecast, current inventory levels, open purchase orders and production constraints (ie minimums, lead time).
  • Coordinate the Placement of SKU buys to the sourcing offices/vendors. Validate correctness to assure data is transferred correctly and follow up on PO confirmations
  • Prepare all Inventory data/reports and analyse shortages and excess inventory positions to order to guarantee maximum efficiency.
  • Liaises regularly with Buyers/vendors to address topics such as minimums, lead times, buy plans, production challenges to ensure WW needs are correctly reflected and satisfied within the global planning process
  • Liaises with Merchandising regarding their Merchandise Financial Plans (seasonal, Annual,. 5year plan)
  • Liaises with Sales regarding sales trends and sales specific requirements to be included in the overall planning process
  • Responsible of the analysis on Styles/Style-colours/SKU’s vs. sales orders to maximize line list efficiency with maximum accuracy and within agreed deadlines
  • Coordinate with Finance, Sales and CS the monthly revenue target and its tracking.
  • Prepare and comment the Brand and the Executive S&OP deck
  • Regularly Liaise with DC and Logistic managers to plan inbound/outbound flow according to capacity constraints.
Essential Requirements
  • Technical or Economic University Degree
  • 1-2 years of Planning experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and Access programs
  • Experience in working with BI tools (Cognos 10)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Packages (Word/Outlook)
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Highly motivated and organised
  • Able to multi task and repriotitise as the need arises
